The 110/240v static illumination Waysafe. This Waysafe model is extensively used by both Construction Companies and Railways. Both the Construction Companies and Railways are currently using a 110v supply across their various sites. The European Community uses 240V input.
Waysafe Illumination Material
The Waysafe is perfect for use in low light or dark conditions, either inside or outside. The Waysafe enables the user to mark a safe route or a hazard. The 110/240V static illumination Waysafe’s cable is 5mm in diameter. The cable emits a brilliant Blue/Green light along its entire length. These colours are highly visible at night. Waysafe supplies the safety and comfort factors needed in a clear and constant reference point.
There are four standard illumination colours, these are: – Blue/Green, Orange, Red, and Lime Green. Illumination lengths available are 50m 100m, 200m, and three hundred meters.
Network Rail’s Health and Safety manual clearly says that the absence of a reference to a hazard, should not mean that such hazards do not exist, at a particular location.
General Applications include:
Marking safe walking Routes. Demarcation of vehicle parking zones. Marking safe working areas next to platforms and embankments.
Demarcation of walkways to and from parking areas and storage compounds. Tracing and marking cables that run under the railway tracks.
