T.I.M.S. Temporary Illuminated Marking System
T.I.M.S. Temporary Illuminated Marking System, is a lightweight man portable system, that reduces the problem of marking areas of danger, or marking a safe route.
Temporary Illuminated Marking System (T.I.M.S.) comprises two power packs, the illumination is driven by 8 x AA batteries. The power packs have two modes of operation, the first is full illumination, and the second allows the illumination levels to be reduced to a point where it is not visible to the naked eye, but clearly seen when looking through a night vision goggle. So this offers the user the ability to adjust the light output to suit the tactical situation.

Because there is a requirement for both High and Low levels of illumination, the system comprises two 10m lengths of red illumination material and 2 x 10m lengths of blue green material. The blue/green material is normally used when a high level if illumination is required. If this equipment is being used to illuminate the edges of the bridges we will supply a clip which enables it the be fitted to the relevant bridge.
