The Directional Waysafe offers the user the ability to give a visual indication of the direction of travel. The various controls allow the user to change the direction, increase the speed of direction and increase or decrease the illumination levels.
Safe Passage Engineering
What is safe passage engineering? The emergency services organisations work in extreme risk-to-life conditions, the need to be able to direct their own or the rescued parties down a safe route or to stop them travelling into an area of danger is imperative. LGI’s Directional Waysafe product offers a simple solution to the problem.
LGI’s-Directional-Waysafe-Illuminated-linear-Guidance-System.
The Directional Waysafe indicates the direction of travel in low light and dark conditions. With applications for either internal or external conditions. The Directional Waysafe gives the user the additional ability to control the direction of travel by simply adjusting the control knob on the face plate.
Waysafe’s illuminated cable can be used quickly and efficiently to mark a safe route or area of danger above or below ground, or even in water. It is simple to deploy and operate, with a minimum of training required. Should the illumination cable be damaged it is easily repaired on site. All Waysafe models are available in 50 m, 100 m, 200 m, and 300 m lengths.
The Directional Waysafe illuminated cable is only 5 mm in diameter. The cable emits a brilliant Blue/Green light along its entire length. This colour is highly visible at night and provides the safety and comfort factors inherent in a clear constant reference point.
Repair the cable
In the event that the cable becomes cut, the undamaged section should remain illuminated. To repair, turn off the Waysafe and effect a field repair as shown in the repair kit to get the cable working again.
Directional Waysafe Illuminated linear-guide line is the most effective, cost-efficient, and visible way of marking safe walking routes and areas of danger.
